What’s happening during this full moon? Something special…

The Moon is in the sign of Sagittarius on June 16th in the Southern Hemisphere with a total Moon Eclipse at 6.15 am.

The total lunar eclipse will be visible in areas such as Europe, Africa, and southern Asia on June 15, 2011. This will be the first of two lunar eclipses in 2011 and the third of all eclipses that occur throughout the year. During the totality of the eclipse, the moon will pass through the center of the earth’s shadow. The best location to view the eclipse will be in the northernmost region in central Asia, as well as Eastern Europe and northeastern Africa.

Avoid operations and vaccinations as all medications and drugs are very potentl today and look to your favourite outdoor place for solitude in order for you to relax and meditate.

New Moon in Gemini 2nd June 2011

New Moon is all about beginnings and every New Moon is a turning point. At this Gemini New Moon there is also an eclipse of the Sun occurring which indicates unexpected events that reveal problem areas in our lives and when we combine them together, we need to look on how we are using our words; with love or with anger?

This is a perfect time to let go of negative thought patterns as well as starting new healthy habits. If you want to quit smoking, or any other habits do it now!!! and within 2 weeks up to the full moon you will be able to see what you have achieved.

Planting by the moon

Time seems to fly so fast and already another month has passed since I last blogged. Planting by the moon is not very hard. Once you understand the concept of how the New and Full Moon work, then the flowers and the vegetables will blossom.

The Moon has its own gravitational force whereby affecting the ‘pull’ of the oceans all over the world. This is consequently an interaction between the sun, the earth and of course the moon.

The day after a New Moon is a good time to plant leafy annuals; this includes any of the annual grasses, green manures, and an excellent time to apply liquid fertilisers. For a healthy green and luscious lawn, mow them during this phase. Planting the annuals after the phase helps the plant to establish itself quickly.

The moon is reflective of our moods and is considered to be a feminine energy, whilst the sun is male. The moodiness of the moon is connected to our feminine cycles. The female energy is now so out of sync with her body and consequently we have many health issues relating to the womb. Working with the moon energy will bring back our power and strengthen our intuition.
